Wing
The wing should be made as a 2piece part due to the limited shop space most of us have. Also during construction phase it will be easier to handle and to stow anywhere. Later on the 2 halves were bolted together and connected to the fuselage in one working step.
The wing should have 2 spars. The main spar should have an aluminium web with backward flanges. Alu bars in staggered layers at top and bottom of the spar. Lightening holes wherever possible. The rearspar stabilizes the wing construction and carries the hinged aileron.
Ailerons at nearly full length to give sufficient roll rates.
No flaps? My 2 pence - flaps need special provisions, actuators and connection rods, this adds weight.
Aerobatic airfoil (Eppler 473)? (simplified symmetric airfoil, incidence angle of 0 ).
Dihedral? Normaly an aerobatic design tends to 'no dihedral'. I would appreciate a little dihedral at the bottom of the wing (2deg) and straight on top which give us a slighty forced stability in the roll axis.
